Home watch
How home watch works
Home watch or home check-ins are a scheduled visual inspection of the home, both interior and exterior, to make sure everything is running smoothly. Collaboratively, ABODE and you create a list of items that you want ABODE to check on. This is a completely customizable check-list and can range from checking for water leaks to bringing in mail to changing filters and filling up salt. Once the check-in has been completed we send you a detailed report of what we found and solutions to any problems that may have arisen.
Home check-ins are optional and are scheduled at your desired frequency. We have clients who want them weekly, some who want them monthly, and some who aren’t interested in them at all. Home check-ins are billed separately from the monthly plan, hourly, at $65 to $115 an hour based on the level of service required.

What owners ask about home watch
Still have a question? Call or text (574) 361-4416, or send it with the form below.
01What does a home watch service include?
A home watch visit is a walk through of a home to inspect if there are any issues. We check the things that fail quietly: water where it should not be, heat and humidity, doors and windows, the sump pump, the mail and the grounds. It is a full interior and exterior walk-through of the property to ensure everything is functioning properly, and nothing is left to assume.
Every check-in plan is customizable and built around what you want looked after.
02How much does a home watch service cost?
Home check-ins are billed separately from the monthly subscription. They are billed hourly starting at $65 / hour and vary depending on the customizable list you have created. We can complete these check-ins as frequently or infrequently as you would like. They are completely optional.
